Anger is a stronger emotion than happiness, therefore its easier to recall. :D

We overlook or take for granted the good in our life. So when things are good, we have life. Nothing special about breathing and thinking, it's natural. It is the "good" as we expect it to be life. We were told we could, and we did.

Pride over embarrasment and winning contests is just a natural partaking of life, like a breath or a thought. We won. We achieved. We got.

At the same time, resentment, anger, hurt and disapointments are how we measure our quality of life. Should've. could've and would've.

Should be the other way around.

Somewhere along the way, our failures and disappointments have become our eyeballs into our caskets of eternity.

I can completely sympathise. I believe the faster recollection of the bad over the good, like a flash of lightning behind our eyes, is our way of psyching ourselves up to avoid committing the same mistake. if it's a painful enough memory and it presents itself again in the manner you said, it's one of to prevent the whole situation again so we prepare better, put in not necessarily longer hours but kick up the quality of the rehearsal or the studying. It usually helps.

Its alot easier to remember negative things than positives things that have happened because people always focus on the nagative things that happen to them. Nobody ever focus on something positive. It's so much easier to be angry then it is to try to be happy. When you focus on positive things your life will become so much better

Bad things are traumatic. Trauma sucks. If good things were traumatic (in a positive way), we wouldn't remember the bad things.

It's genetic.
It's far more important to remember that the red berries are poisonous than the blue ones taste nice.
