Why panic? Things usually are where we last left them. Things don't just walk away unless you are careless and there is a toddler around! I learned that lesson with my car keys and a 2 year old.

After years of losing thesunglasses on my head and my car keys, well, anywhere, I am finally together on these things. I learned to just calm down and be logical. Sometimes it even works!

I had a few crystals that i would swear had a sense of humour. They would just disappear then show up in the weirdest of places when I finally stopped looking. I also had a native pin of the raven play tricks like that. But, the Raven is the trickster in West Coast Aboriginal mythology!

Other times you lose something forever, like an earring into the sands or a special crystal to the ocean. I consider those to be gifts to Allah in gratitude for one thing or another.

Not true, I've misplaced things and looked for it over & over in the same places before I find it, but only after I've said a prayer to St. Joseph. Then I'm always amazed because I swore I looked there very carefully before. Go figure!

It doesn't make since to me either. Someone pointed that out to me a couple of years ago. I guess it's their way of "calming you down" because usually when you've lost something important you go on a frantic search. When they say that you sometimes feel a little relieved until you realize what they have just said...

Exactly. It's like people say to quit smoking, you only need to quit one cigarette - the next one.

That's why it's called wordplay.
