Once upon a time, there was a little teardrop named Tanner. Tanner was a very sad little teardrop because the little girl whose tear duct he lived in never cried. The only thing he wished was to escape this little girl and become a raindrop in Lake Michigan. One day when he was crying I appeared.
“I am your fairy godmother,” I explained to him. “Your wish is my command!”
“I wish I was a raindrop!” he cried.
“Well……… I can’t do that,” I explained to him. “Only the water cycle can do that! But I can make this little girl cry so you can escape.”
“Ok,” tanner replied. “It will get me one step closer to being a raindrop.” Therefore, I made the little girl want to go to the movie “Old Yeller.” when Travis had to shoot Old Yeller the little girl began to cry. When it was Tanner’s turn, he slipped down her cheek and clung to the little girls clothes. When the little girl returned home, she changed her clothes and the little girl’s mother washed her clothes.

Children don't know anything about their sexual health, the changes that their bodies are going through, positive relationship decisions, and pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection (STI) prevention. We could do so much to educate children about their bodies, to EMPOWER them to say no to sex until they are ready and make positive sexual health decisions. Why don't we provide a very comprehensive sex education program in our schools and how much sex ed did you get? These children don't know what an orgasm REALLY is! Or why their bodies are doing the things that they are.

I am looking for a worksheet that's purpose is for students to follow the directions. Specifically one that has all this stuff to do, but if they read the directions it would say to do nothing. Does anyone have one they could send me or a website where I can find one? It is for my 4th graders!

I've been considering finishing my degree online to pursue a bachelor's in Business Administration. However, I find that most programs are too pricey (i.e. U of Phoenix $755 per 3 credit course) or extremely limited (offers only degrees in General Studies, or only in a few fields).

The company I work for offers tuition reimbursement, but I'm not sure if I want to continue working there by year's end and may end up paying for some sessions/semesters out-of-pocket.

I'm looking at Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy (Rutgers University). At this particular school, do you have to go to a university first for four years, then go to Pharmacy school for about another 6 years, or can you just go to Pharmacy school (pre-pharmacy) right out of high school so you only study for about 6 years?

My nine-year-old freezes up when it comes time to start his monthly project for school. Generally he has to do a 3-5 paragraph book report for his third grade class. A craft project of some sort goes along with the book report. Invariably come Saturday morning with a week to go before it is do we are left arguing with him about starting. Just to get him to write the first sentence, pencil to paper. We brainstorm his report with him, help him come up with the idea for the first sentence, even suggest some wording. But all this time he deflects everything we are trying to do. He's hungry, he's tired, has a headache, can't remember, every excuse in the book. Eventually the whining becomes so annoying we start threatening, no game cube, no tv, sent to room, etc.
How can we make this procedure more automatic. I've taught high school English and am familiar with educational theory, but am stuck when it comes to my own son.
Suggestions?
