I am looking for a worksheet that's purpose is for students to follow the directions. Specifically one that has all this stuff to do, but if they read the directions it would say to do nothing. Does anyone have one they could send me or a website where I can find one? It is for my 4th graders!

I totally made one up for my fourth grade class. These are tons of fun. Every one of my students "failed" because the did not fully read the directions that said "all you need to do is put down your pencil and lay your head on the desk in order to pass this test". There were 20 questions (tasks) and some of them said: kiss the top of your paper, poke a hole through the center of your paper, rub the paper on the top left side of your head, make another word from the letters of your name and other silly things like that.

I have mine that the teacher made us do.....

1) Write your name in a box in the top right hand corner.
2) Draw a triangle on the back of this paper.
3) Stomp your left foot twice and your right foot 1 time.
4) Write Mr/Mrs. (Teacher's Name) on the board.
5) Make the sound a goat makes.
6) Sing "Mary Had a Little Lamb'' out loud.
7) Draw a picture on the board of your teacher reading a book.
8) Clap your hands 7 times.
9) Give someone in the classroom a high-five.
10) Do not do numbers 1 through 9 just put your head down on the desk.

Make sure you tell the students not to spoil the fun and tell the students what to do ........I hope this helps. It is funny!!

I have a math one that is very detailed and builds from the previous directions. I'm on spring break and it's at school but if you email me you email address, I'll send it to you in April when I go back to school. I give it to my 5th graders but 4th graders could do it.

I've also seen them where the last direction says to put your name and the date on the paper and turn it in (after the first direction says to read all directions). But I don't have a copy of one.

Oooh I remember we did one of those in 8th grade science! One of the first directions said to do nothing until you read ALL of the steps. There were some funny ones along the way... one thing was to stand up and shout out something like "I'm a hairy potato and I'm doing a good job!" The reason I remember that activity so well was because I was one of the few student who stood up and made a fool of myself. :) I tried searching for something like that, but I couldn't find anything. I'm glad you brought that up, though. I'd forgotten all about it... that will be a good pre-achievement test activity to remind my students to read all of the directions carefully!

Make one yourself. As I recall the first direction was to read all the items and when you get to the last one the task was to write your name at the top and turn your paper over because the test was complete.

We did one of those and the directions said, "Write your name on this paper, circle the even numbers on the sheet, then turn it over."

It was a list of like 30 things and some kids were finishing and others were panicking...

I don't have the sheet, but man, that was a good exercise.

It's probable to pay plenty of time and money looking for ways to train your kids how to read and boost their reading skills. Is hard to teach a tiny kid how to read, and actually enticing them to learn is difficult in itself. Nonetheless it does not need to be that way because you got the help of this system https://tr.im/YmZ2P , Children Learning Reading program.
With Children Learning Reading you may show your son or daughter how to separate sounds and separate words in to phonemes, an essential issue when your kid is merely understanding how to spell.
The studying program from Children Learning Reading program makes it simple for children to learn rapidly and correctly, from easy words to phrases until they learn to read stories.

You could make one. That way you could include things that are specific to any subject that you are studying. It would be simple to make your own.
