Once upon a time, there was a little teardrop named Tanner. Tanner was a very sad little teardrop because the little girl whose tear duct he lived in never cried. The only thing he wished was to escape this little girl and become a raindrop in Lake Michigan. One day when he was crying I appeared.
“I am your fairy godmother,” I explained to him. “Your wish is my command!”
“I wish I was a raindrop!” he cried.
“Well……… I can’t do that,” I explained to him. “Only the water cycle can do that! But I can make this little girl cry so you can escape.”
“Ok,” tanner replied. “It will get me one step closer to being a raindrop.” Therefore, I made the little girl want to go to the movie “Old Yeller.” when Travis had to shoot Old Yeller the little girl began to cry. When it was Tanner’s turn, he slipped down her cheek and clung to the little girls clothes. When the little girl returned home, she changed her clothes and the little girl’s mother washed her clothes.

When she put them in the dryer, the water began to be evaporated and got sucked out the vent and into the air.
“Whee!” Tanner and his friends yelled. In the air, the water vapors began to change into clouds. The clouds got bigger and bigger. The sun slowly vanished behind the clouds and the rain began to fall, light at first then heavier and more. At last, Tanner the teardrop was Tanner the raindrop. The wind whipped him around. POP! I returned to see Tanner.
“Do you have any more wishes?” I asked him.
“Yes!” He screamed over the wind. “I wish to land in Lake Michigan!” PLOP! Tanner sank into the beautiful lake and began to swim around.
AROUND ONE MONTH LATER…
Tanner was happily swimming around the lake when he was all of a sudden pumped into a water purification pump and sent to a small house.
“This House looks familiar,” Tanner thought. All of a sudden the memories flooded back. This was the little girl’s house!

“Not again!” Tanner thought. The little girl turned on the faucet and took a long drink from the glass. Tanner was swallowed and carried back to the little girl’s tear duct. He was again stuck with the little girl who never cried.

THE END!!!!

Um...what is the significance of the name Tanner? Maybe pick something more relevant. It's okay I guess... but I would put in more descriptions. That would make it seem real. (Well, real enough for a story about a teardrop.) Uh.. the water cycle part is a little cheesy, but I guess that has to be there because of your science project (?). It's also kind of weird that you're the fairy godmother. Strange angle on it. Keep it if you like, but you would have to put in more of YOUR thoughts if you did that. Good luck!
