I don't think there is a precise word that equals the opposite of that Eureka! moment signified by inspiration, so this may be a case of finding one in another language we can borrow. (Like schadenfreude, borrowed from Germans, meaning pleasure at someone else's misfortune.)

what exactly is the opposite of that Eureka! moment? is it slogging through endless nights trying to find the mot juste? is it having someone give you the answer you were hoping to find yourself? is it lassitude or a total lack of interest in the subject? is it giving up on finding an answer and then discovering it by accident (with no effort on your part)?

I'm thinking, "non-sequitor", which loosely means, " it doesn't follow, AT ALL!", ..which could possibly be opposite of "inspired"
