If it's in the dictionary it's not a cuss word.

So the answer is No

No, it isn't. But, it is all based on your upringing. A fundamentalist Christian might think crap is a curse word. On the other hand, I tend to think that words are words, they are all made up, so how we fell about them is just a reflection of society. I say F all the time. I find that people who are uptight don't like this word. They also say that people who are ignorant use curse words. That's not true because I have a PhD and all my colleagues swear all the time. later.

No, crap is a very important word in today's society. It should not be castigated as a "cuss" word. The mere fact that someone would insinuate such an atrocity is gelastic.

Well, for me it depends on the age of the person. I have a 12 y/o and she was never allowed to say it until just this school year. I don't like it coming from her mouth but it is a word most kids use and even though I don't like that word coming out of my "baby's" mouth, we do allow it so she fits in better at school and with friends on a social level.

Depends on who you ask and their personal interpretation, I was raised that crap is another word for sh_t--and my mother would have probably slapped the crap out of me for saying the real word, so we did say crap, to avoid getting into real trouble, as in our house, sh_t was swearing, but not everyone would agree to this I am sure. Personal preference.

technically, ANYTHING you say that is meant to "cuss something" is a bad word...
but then again, people use "crap" a lot. even my teachers at school...i use it too, and i don't swear often.
so yeah, i guess it isn't.. lol?

Yahoo didn't bleep it out of your question, so I guess it isn't. But, depending on one's tone, almost any word can be considered an expletive.
