I am usually a member of the IEP team for special education, especially during the testing and results of assessement. What information would you liked explained more to you? What information would you like that you are not getting? I am just wanting the perspective of a parent. Please no general rants on how school systems are out to get all of us.

I am in 8th grade and am going to high school next year. I need to take a language and my Latin teacher told me he thought I could handle another language. I am interested in Latin, French, Chinese, Greek, and German. The high school I am going to does not offer German or Greek. I have been taking Latin since the 6th grade. I want to take Chinese, French, and Latin at once through my high school years.

Does anyone think it is a bad idea to take three languages at once? And if so, why?

I know that levels of difficulty are different for people but from what you have heard, can you list all five languages in order from hardest to easiest?

If any high school teachers are answering this, is it possible to take three languages without dropping academics or unified arts?

Its kind of funny because I am a sophomore (homeschooled) and I have to write this research report for the end this quarter, so I am gathering all this info from all these different sites and alot of them statisticly say that by the time homeschooled students turn 30 years old, 95% of them vote in a national/state election in the U.S. Compared to the average 30 year old is in the 40 percent tile. And now whats so funny is that on every homeschooled question asked under this part of yahoo answers is that there are ALWAYS tons of thumbs up or thumbs down! I find that really funny I have been reading this for my report for awhile now and then all of a sudden I notice that "statisticly" yahoo answers has made me take more interest in my report! All because of the thumbs up and the thumbs down people give each other on here. I like how, "we" like to notify everyone if we, agree or disagree with them. Anyone find this fasinating?

My dream is to go to UC Davis and study veterinary medicine. Currently, I am a freshman in a CSU school. I have not declared a major because for some reason I am intimidated from doing so.

I looked over the UC Davis website and saw that most people who are admitted into the universities veterinary program are Biology or Chemistry majors. So I have decided to declare myself a Biology major before the end of the month.

I would like to know if anyone has any experience in transferring to UC Davis from another school to take part in their veterinary program. Do you have any advice for me?

I have spoken to my advisor and she has told me that I need to contact the school and start building a relationship with them. Does anyone who has attended the school know anyone that I should contact that might be nice enough to give me some advise? Perhaps a professor you liked while you attended school.

I have tried contacting the large animal clinic and the small animal clinic as well as the dean’s office to ask them if I am making the right decision by declaring my major, but I have not had any luck getting through to anyone.

I dont.
I love history, and when I get into discussions pertaining to something I studied for months. I can barely get my facts straight. Whats with this? Its annoying. I love learning and knowing things.

ok, I have been assigned a project where I have to draw a Canadian scene on one side of a piece of paper. Then, on the other side I have to write a message to a real or imaginary person. I can do the message easy. It's just the drawing that's causing me problems. I am drawing Niagra Falls. I have got the actual "Falls" part drawn. It's just I have no idea what else to draw.
