I have to write a paper on the following topic:

Outline the society portrayed in Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey (economic, social, moral and political aspects), pointing out some of the ways in which it is different from the polis of the Classical period.

I have done all of my research and am COMPLETELY stuck because I have no idea what my thesis statement should be.

Any suggestions?

If you have done the research and written the paper, distill the essay into two or three ideas and scribble them down. Then distill those even further into one sentence that represents your idea about your viewpoint. If you are still stuck, you can always swallow your pride and ask your teacher. Believe it or not, they want to help.

substantial thought is amazingly elementary... a substantial (substantial) thought (subject rely) so, substantial thought is the topic that the full essay would be approximately. The thesis Sentence is only that: Thesis: end Sentence: Sentence. The thesis sentence rather lots sums the full subject up interior the top paragraph.
