My child attends middle school and several times I have noticed kids coming into their office and being told that if they didn't have a fever, they weren't sick and to go back to class. Excuse me, but you don't have to run a fever to be sick! Then I observe these nurses just chatting away and I can tell they get angry, if bothered. Anyone else seen this at their schools?

Why is it that the moving stairs that take you both UP & DOWN are called ESCALLATORS? (sorry for bad spelling)
Surely escalate means go up! so how can it be used for the down version too?
I like the names UP-ALATORS & DOWN-ALATORS!

I'm a current LLB student and as such obtain student loans to help me through the year. However as a Masters student would i be able to obtain loans through the student loans company or only through a bank or building society.
