It depends if you are planning to do Cultural, Physical, Applied (Business, Medical, Environmental etc.) There are alot of different branches of anth, so there are alot of job possibilities. Unfortunatly, they are generally not well paid unless you get into business anth. Large companies need anthropologists to help deal with employees from different cultures, figure out effective marketing to different cultures for sales of their products, and other issues.

Medical anth deals with medicine and health care in different cultures.

Cultural anth is the traditional anth, that most people think of, (when they are confusing anthropology with archaeology!). Cultural anthropologist are people who do interviews, and research. They often work with certain groups of people, like the human services fields, rehabilitation, indigenous peoples, other cultures etc.

Environmental anth looks at how people are affected by their environment.

There are alot more possibilities than this, but these are some of the most common.

There is even legal anth! I studied this in regards to different justice systems around the world.

A consultant to large construction companies, blessing their sites as "antiquity safe". Make up stickers for glueing around the sites. :-)
