San Jose State is the best all-around CSU, and they have one of the few master's degrees in biotechnology so their biochem program can't be bad,

But I think that in general, if you take a complete general ed program at your community college it works at all of the state schools as general ed. And any biochem program is going to have the same prerequisite courses - chemistry, organic chemistry, calculus, physics, biology.

Have you talked to an advisor at your college?

I believe Cal State San Francisco (aka S.F. State) is the second best biochem school in California, after Stanford. Of course, I'm terribly prejudiced, having lived in the Bay Area for fifty years.

It quite relies upon on the sector of learn for most of the Cal States. that's what distinguishes each and every of them. Cal States like Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and San Diego State are head and shoulders above something. yet for something, it tremendously lots relies upon on the diploma you pursue. Cal State l. a. is robust in enterprise, nursing and engineering and San Jose State is robust in engineering and enterprise.

I don't know about the major specifically, but I heard that in general, CSU Long Beach and San Diego State are really good. I would have been happy going to either of those. People seem happy with Northridge, too.
