You cannot rush a fraternity. You can pledge though. Rush is what sororities do.

Rushing is with both sororities and fraternities...Of cousre you can rush more than once at the same fraternity. I know a few freshman that come to the rush events in my house even though they can not recieve a bid(ivitation to pledge the house) until sophmore year....Rushing is a great way to see a fraternity you might be interested. Most schools have formal rush week which is where all the greeek houses do activities to get people that want to pledge the house to stop by and see if the house is for them. One of the current pledges in my house rush last semester but didn't pledge till this one

Once your in a frat aren't you there for the whole year? There would be no point in rushing again if you're already a member right?

You can rush them more than once, but don't be surprised if they don't want you back after the first rush...

Were you accepted? If yes, then you only rush and pledge once.

i'm sorry, but if you pay as much attention to your studies as worrying about pledging, you will do much better. i know you think i'm a jerk for saying this, but i'm an old jerk, so at least listen a bit.
