Hi,
I formerly attended the best school of all time then my family moved and I started going to a bad catholic high school. My old school we a public charter school, it had all the perks of a public school but you had to have a 2.0 or higher to stay in the school (aka - no idiots). I hate my new school. It has been a semester and I have given it a try trying to make friends. The kids are not bad and the classes are not that great but ok. I liked my old school best but we moved out of state so I cannot go back. I recently found another public charter school were we moved but the academics are not as good. I can compensate for the academics with an online high school, but is it worth trading the education for the better environment? Its the vice principal and all of the stupid, pointless, creativity restricting rules that drive me nuts. All answers are appreciated. Thanks!

Is there a website I can go to? Do I have to make a huge down payment? What is the best way to pay for it without them garnishing my tax refund? I only owe $3,697. But the debt collectors are harrassing me about it and I want to find some other solution rather than having to deal with these a**h**** that keep calling me.

I'm 16 years old. I live with my grandmother in Michigan. Last year my mom and my dad died suddenly. After that, everything changed. I just can't be happy, and I'm sick of feeling sorry for myself. For a long time now I've wanted to drop out of high school, and get my GED, and then go to a college out of state. Move away, and get a fresh start. I'm a smart girl with a 3.87 GPA, so it shouldn't be that hard. Can I get an apartment of my own if I work? Do I have to become emancipated? What are the steps in doing all this? Well, if someone out there can give me some type of advice or anything it will be very much appreciated. Thanks.

I recently completed a science project with my two partners. When we returned to school on Tuesday, our teacher informed us that any graphics (pictures) used in the project must be cited in MLA format. This is all well and good with sites such as www.easybib.com, but my friend has seemed to have lost the links to the majority of the pictures. She says her history has been "erased". If I don't find citations for these pictures, we will most likely be getting a 0 on a test grade.

Does anyone have any advice or suggestions? I've already e-mailed my teacher telling him about the situation, but I would much rather just get in the citations correctly than have to haggle with him over points.

I keep getting confused with those two. I think "say" is present form and past tense is "said" So if that's true, do you still need to add "s" to "saids" to mean 1st person singular past tense?

My completely irrational parents refuse to consider the idea, but can't give an argument that I haven't countered. I've given them websites to look at--I don't think they bothered--and on those websites were answers to all of their (stated) concerns. If you've had success with unschooling, please tell me so I can tell them.
