The ACT is a test that is designed to asses your math and verbal skills. IQ tests (there are many of them) are designed for several aspects of the human brain such as logic, spatial, organizational, mechanical, reasoning, visual and verbal. In this way, the two tests can't be compared directly, even though if you do well on one, you probably wont do so bad on the other.

There is no way to convert, every person is good at different things and just because you got a 26 act doesn't mean you wont get a 70 IQ

26 gives an estimated IQ of 117.

However, the new ACT and SAT are not really IQ tests and only correlate moderately with IQ.

Your IQ is probably within the range of 107-127.
