1. if an object travels for 15 min with a constant velocity of 12 miles per hour west ,what is the acceleration?

2.A sportcar goes from a velocity of 12 meters per second east in 2 seconds. what is the cars acceleration?

3. A train takes a long time to stop. thats what makes trains so dangerous to people who cross the tracks when one is near. if a train is traveling at 30 miles per hour south and takes 12 minutes to come to a stop what is the trains acceleration?

I have most of the equation written out I just want to make sure I am getting it all down.

Ok back when I was in high school I will admit I played around. Now 4 years later (after maturing more) I want to enroll @ North Carolina A&T State University and major in Fashion Merchandising. But my problem is my high school transcript sucked. I know I have to send the transcript in, but I need some advise as to make sure I get in. Serious Posts Please. What does it means when it says Fifteen centimeters is what part of a meter?

I recently decided that I want to be a doctor because I enjoy helping people in significant ways and interacting with the community. I also plan to move to a relatively isolated part of Canada (3 hours from the United States border: well away from most of the population) because I grew up in contact with that culture and understand it very well on a personal basis. I am completing a degree in chemistry, will have done 2 years of volunteer work (4 hrs/wk or more) and 1 yr of shadowing. I am attempting to work as a paramedic, will publish a medical research paper, and have worked my way through college (20 hrs a wk) without financial assistance from my parents. There is a history of doctors in my family (one each generation for the last three). My MCAT score is a 13 in all sections and an S in the writing. However, I have a 3.14 gpa because of a single year of bad grades due to illness and personal problems. MY GPA in high school was 3.94.

I'm hoping to double-major in German language and Illustration or Graphic Design. If possible, I'd also like to continue taking Spanish classes and enroll in a Mandarin Chinese course. Why is that there is a different spelling for English words. eg in South Africa colour, flavour, favour are spelled with a u & in USA they are spelled without a u??
