I do not know how to start it! Here is the question;

Assume that you have recently finished your first year as mayor of your city. At the end of the year there is $1 Million dollars left in the budget. You must spend this money within your community. What would you spend it on and why?

OK, I live in San Diego... I was thinking about starting it something among the lines of "San Diego is said to be America's Finest City", but that sounds kind of stupid. Please help me, I do not know how to start my essay!

I want to convince my parents that staying on campus at our local university is better than commuting. They want to save the money (roughly about $7000-10000 a year), but I think I'll miss more than the college experience. I need lots of feedback, reasons with good evidence and/or cons to commuting. [By the way, it's the University of Pittsburgh, if that helps] Anything would be appreciated!

I am doing a project about bones for my anatomy class. My teacher wants me to write a paper about how easy it is to break your wrists. She wants me to find people who have done it and how they did it. How it felt and how long it took to relize that it was broken. And also what it was like to not be able to use your hand.
