museum curator, gallery worker/owner, researcher/writer about pieces of art--like Robert Jordan in DaVinci Code, work in art supply store, write journalism pieces about art for newspaper, Art professor.

All pretty tough gigs to get. Art History is cool though. I totally understand the allure

you could be a curator at a museum, a teacher, professor, art critic, writer, you could go to law school afterwards (as this is a good major to have to learn to utilize very handy logic and comprehension skills), gallery owner, etc. good luck. p.s. you can also just decide to take that degree as a humanities degree and go into anything you like really- most people don't use their undergrad degrees in whatever they end up in anyway!
