The form 6 (pre-U) Biology class students are forced by the school's principal to take up one more subject, sports science which they have no interest in it at all. They dont even have enough time to study for other subjects which they are taking and now they are forced to take up another subject. Some students wrote letter to the principal asking to make the subject (sports science) not compulsory and offer to those who are interested it in only. But the principal just give all her reasons and wouldnt listen to the students. Even student's family went to talk wif her also o use. Sports science is only part of biology and the biology students really dont have to take it. And the syllabus is not even complete. Moreover, the students are very clear about tat subject and know that they are not interested to join that field of work. They wish to concentrate on other subjects which are already very hard to score in examinations.
Can the principal force the students to study that subject?
