if i said something nasty to my boss on my own time and off campus?

I threatened my boss, but I was off..... But yes he can fire you, but he wont say that's why he is firing you...And employer don't need a reason to fire you, they can fire you just because they feel like..If you are a good worker, then you have nothing to worry about. But if he is does fire you, I'm sure you was looking for a job before you found that one. But good luck

Depends on your boss. what was the reason you said what you did? If what you said was because of bosses behavior they should look withing their self and fix that problem. If you were just trying to be mean you need to grow up, and what ever happens you deserve. If its because you do not like your boss that's to bad, you can work for someone and not like them but you can respect them for their abilities.

probably, because alot of bosses love to hold power and if you do something they don't like, it gives them a reason to fire you. Just to be on the safe side, I would not do that, even outside of work.

Yeah, you'd probably be fired...and to make it better/worse, the boss will say you weren't doing your job right or did something you weren't supposed to do as opposed to the real reason.

well you could, or he will make things hard on you.. you are suppose to respect your boss even if you can not tolerate him...so good luck on this one..
