I would like to avoid the tourist traps but would like to treat my sister and her kids to some good food. Most places with great food often aren't very kid friendly.

...in all of California? Or, the USA for that matter?

I don't have a car, but I can carefully plan out on how to go and visit places in the BA via an Amtrak, BART or VTA buses. Is it possible to do the same in any other place in California, or the US for that matter?

I got a gift certificate for Asia SF from a friend. The envelope has the Asia SF logo, but the gift certificate is very generic (does have red gift cert number printed in the lower left hand corner), and everything is hand written in the blanks, including "Asia SF." It's dated and signed. Do you think it's legit?

Does a really good steak exist in San Francisco? I'm talking about a Peter Lugers level of excellence here in the bay area. I fear there isn't, but please let me know. . .
