In restaurants that have just open I could say 1-5 but in an older restaurant maybe about 10-25 wads. But that is just my guess.

It depends on the quality of the restaurant I would think.

I could envision more gum on the bottom of family restaurants than on the ritzy expensive clubs.

I'll go for 5 at McDonalds and fast food
3 at Ponderosa (family restaurants)
1 at the Waldorf Astoria

umm ok i actually had that crappy side duty of scrapping gum off free standing bar tables...just 5 tables and 10 chairs......AT LEAST 10 pieces of gum for EACH table and abot 5 for each chair!! and that's only like 5% of the restaurant!

but they're gone...or less of them now!! i dunno it's been over a yr since i worked there... it's on Harrison St and Embarcadero....i'll let you guys look it up!!
