Thanks! I've tried some of the places mentioned and liked them myself (esp Yogurt Castle on the corner of N. California Blvd & Bonanza). Others I haven't tried but sure will now! (ie...Bridges).
Thanx again..

Bing Crosby's is upscale, Stanfords is right across the street and they have a great happy hour (cheap food, not drinks). The restaraunt with the train the other guy was referring to is Vic Stewarts, which is a great steakhouse. Don't forget Ruth's Chris though... EVERYTHING there is delicious (but expensive)...

If you like Wine, Va de Vi is a great little wine bar with a cobblestone alley that feels very european. They are right by Tommy Bahamas (beware the small portions!)

All of these are in Walnut Creek... enjoy!!!

Fast food:

Yan Can--Pleasant Hill, not far from Cinema--Chinese, quick, hot, delicious

Slow food:

Tahoe Joe's--Pleasant Hill, across from the Mall--Steakhouse, done to a T, juicy, good service and bar (USDA Choice that thinks its Prime)

PF Chang--Several locales, including Walnut Creek, near Nordstrums--Chinese, wide variety, ample portions, reservations advised (after workday hours)

close by, privately owned eating place interior the subsequent city (no longer likely a city, that is an intersection on a united states of america highway. lol) that is declared as Falcetti's Villa, in basic terms exterior of Ford city, PA. focuses on Italian foodstuff, yet serves an entire menu. I in many cases order spaghetti or roast beef. each and every so often cheese ravioli. I in many cases drink clean brewed iced tea with a slice of lemon, or a Budweiser.

It's not really a restaurant. I used to live in the area and I loved Yogurt Park. Best frozen yogurt.
