I have listed Cioppino, Clam Chowder, Dungeness Crab and some good dining spot. For seafood, which place is good for each above ? I don't want to be stuck in Fisherman's Wharf all the time and would prefer eating in a not so touristy area. What about Peruvian, Hawaiian and Japanese food there ? I heard that Ti-Couz is good too, for Brittany Style Crepe and Mojitos. Thanks! Going there soon ... :-)

6-7 years ago I went to a dim sum restaurant in SF. It was near the end of Geary. It was 2 stories tall. I remember standing outside the door and looking down the hill and only about 3-4 blocks away was the ocean/bay. When facing the water, this restaurant was on the left side of the road. And it was a really wide stretch of Geary, lots of other cool little shops.

Can anyone help me with the name? I'd love to go back.

it can be expensive. we prefer american, french, italian, or asian fusion food. we are not into the super eclectic stuff which ... though we are willing to try new stuff. Some seafood on the menu is fine, though a seafood focused restaurant is also not prefered.

I often dream of the tasty ice cream in Kauai at a place called Lappert's. They have the best, creamiest, most ludicrously good macadamia nut ice cream and i would like to eat it, but can't afford to go to Hawaii. Please help me in my quest to find something as close as possible to this delicious taste sensation in the Bay Area.

I am in my mid 20s and I recently moved up to SF Bay Area. I heard SF is one of the best cities for singles but it seems just as hard as anywhere else. I am working now so school is no longer an option. It seems harder to meet women in the working world. Any ideas for good places to meet women other than in clubs? Thank you.

i'm wishing for a quality hot dog place, like on every street corner in n.y. i want that quality wiener smell like in n.y. it is very distinctive. the only place i've smelled it on the west coast is Pinks in hollywood. know any in the b.a. where i live? Caspers or Kaspers in the easy bay ain't it; neither is Marks in san jose, very over-rated w/ its canned Stagg chili and dull tasting dogs; Ben Franks ditto, better chili, but ordinary hot dog. i will go to s.f.(hate it because of the filthy street grime and litter, by and large) if a place is recommended. i want one that can stand on its own with just mustard.

I'm looking for the ultimate, huge, tasty, real cheesey, refried beaney, and cheap-o bean and cheese burrito in the entire bay area (the closer to oakland the better, but not required)? Can you help? are you a certified burrito lover. Any sarcastic answers like Taco Bell or El Pollo Loco will be flagged for idiocy (haha).
