keep in mind, I use straight Chinese translations. 1. Koi Palace at Sacramonte exit on 280 for Cantonese, get there before 11 to 11:30 everyday. 2. Spicy girl or Spicy sister on 6th and Clement, Taiwan Sichuan style 3. Old Beijing on Judah or Noreiga and 48th to 45th( this is the closest I can get). but their Beijing style lamb fondue, plus the little sauce on the side are the best around SF. worth the drive from San Jose, or Sacramento...

House of Nanking- the chef will come out and ask if you would like him to make a customized menu for you- really good food.

It was my favorite Chinese restaurant when I used to live in the city- try it!

Daimo at the Pacific East Mall in Richmond is excellent with a huge menu.

If you include North Bay, Joy Luck Club in Napa is great! And have excellent crab rangoon. I like Peking Palace (also in Napa) because they do dim sum.

Well it is in mlpitas near san jose and it is mongolian but it is my favorite restaurant so I will just mention it...Banana Leaf. It is near the gret mall!!! Pinneaple chicken fried rice served in a pinneaple (i get it without shrimp)and the roti bread you dip in curry sauce!!!!!! Try it someday!!! I drive 2 hours to get there just for what i mentioned above!! Heavenly!!!
