I got a gift certificate for Asia SF from a friend. The envelope has the Asia SF logo, but the gift certificate is very generic (does have red gift cert number printed in the lower left hand corner), and everything is hand written in the blanks, including "Asia SF." It's dated and signed. Do you think it's legit?

Call them up and ask! Even if it's a hoax, go. Asia SF is wonderful!

Sure they are- Lot's of people just buy gift check forms instead of custom printing.

Why would you think it is not legitimate?

Many places don't have formal ones, because they are easy to steal and forge. Handwritten ones are harder to forge, because it is usually the same person that always writes and signs them.

hrm... yep, best thing to do would probably call them up and verify it.. Asia SF is pretty entertaining. :) check it out!
