See http://www.pappadeaux.com/ to check out their homepage. If you have a favorite server/wait person let me know that, too. Any other comments about this restaurant are appreciated.

Hi..I used to be a server for quite awhile..I just found out I have a rare Tomato allergy..I cannot even be around them..Sucks and is weird I know..What is the best way to tell a server how severe it is???..I have gone out and the servers do not take it seriously even though I tell them its a severe, poss deadly allergy..I still get tomato on my plate and ketchup brought to the table and get smirks..Its not funny..I wear a allergy bracelet and carry the Epi-pen....how can I communicate it better..Please serious answers..Thanks..

Why does the % that you leave for a TIP keep creeping upwards? Inflation accounts for the price of the meal going up, but the TIP % should always remain the same. When I was young i remember 6%, than 10%, than 15% and now i see it creeping to 20%. Doesnt it make more sense that the meal price would increase and along with it the TIP?

Friends will be visiting SF for the Folsom Street Fair/Leatherfest in couple weeks; plane, hotel room booked. Have already hit Google and found couple restaurant links. Now refining search--HELP!!!

Looking for reasonably priced eating places for use during the Fair---geographic area is South of Market District, between 7th and 12th Streets.

They also plan to do: Fisherman's Wharf, Chinatown (both adore Peking Duck, BTW), Japantown, Ghirardelli Square, and Napa Valley. Any really great "dining experiences" in these areas, that DON'T require a 2nd mortgage on a house? I'd like for them to have the best time possible and do NOT know the city, so any insider information would be great. Thanks!

Will post addt'l data when avail abt preferred food types; assume moderate prices for most part, with 1-2 really nice dinners (little black dress/tie and jacket).
