i live on long island, NY and i constantly see commercials for places like Dairy Queen and Sonic, meanwhile, there are none of those fast food chains in sight! why do they make me crave their shakes if i can't even go out and buy one? why do they air their commercials here if their restaurants aren't here?

The "tax" they are charging is NOT a state or federal tax. It is a tax that McDonald's is charging and pocketing. In my state we don't pay take on prepared food. I don't understand how this can be legal, why not just raise their prices, so you know what you are paying up front. How long has this been going on?

Where are Chicago's best bets for eating close to downtown? We'll be seeing the sites downtown and need some ideas of where to eat that's close by but still affordable. i was stareing at my yogurt and i saw it said sell by- march 9 does that it expired 2 days ago ??? it also said For best quality for product- keep refrigerated and consume within 7 days of sell by date
