There's a lovely place overlooking the ocean at Brighton that has wonderful fish and chips (and mushy peas!). I also like the fish from a sidewalk stand just across from the entrance to the Tower of London. The chips are soggy, but the fish is fantastic.

Best Chips in the country? Great Yarmouth Market Place. So many stalls to choose from, I think theres either nine or ten? All the chips are lovely. They don't sell fish though.
