I live in Pismo Beach and have never heard this term, ever.

Now ya got me curious, though.

Peeled Side Muscle On. Peeled means the fat is removed from the tenderloin leaving the silver skin showing. Side meat(muscle) or chain is really great for making a steak and cheese. PMSO, pronounced Pismo.

It is a whole vacuum packed tenderloin.
