i'm looking for something around the city or in the near vicinity. come to think of it, if there's one in central NJ, that would work as well.

There are no restaurants outside of this area that serve blue crabs from the Chesapeake Bay and I don't know why?

What would you recommend? Nothing touristy, please. I would like to have lunch at one of the classically elegant Parisian restaurants. Have limited time because I have to catch a plane, only have 8 hours there.
Would love some suggestions.
Thanks!

Looking for a good deal on a tasty whole maine lobster dinner for under $20 if possible. I'm looking for good value, not fancy cloth napkins, unless, of course you get both for a great price.

Looking for places where families are made really welcome to enjoy the ritual of sharing a meal together - rather than the kids being treated as a nuisance by the staff.

I have always wondered this...when you go to McDonald's or any fast food restaurant's drive through window, how do they know when you are sitting there ready to order? Is there some sort of sensor? Are there cameras?

I was at Applebee's tonight and couldn't finish all of my meal, so I decided to put it in a Styrofoam box to take home. However, it wasn't until after I got home that I forgot my leftover food at the restaurant! Now I feel really bad because a) that would have made a good lunch for tomorrow and b) now they're just going to throw it in the trash, and it could have made a nice meal for a homeless man or a starving kid in Africa. :(
