Dunno if i will be able to get any help with this but i'm looking at the Yahoo TV listings. I put in my zip and dish network (satellite provider). All of it is right except it shows some other channels i don't seem to have. There are 2 extra NBC channels located on channel 241 and 242, but if i look in my satellite menu screen, those channels aren't there. I have 'show all channels' selected with my Dish but those ones don't show up.

There are also 2 other CBS and ABC channels in the same area that i can't find. I think they are from different TV affiliates. Anyone know what the deal is? I ask because there's a show coming on tomorrow at 10:30 i want to see, but i won't be home then, I will however probably be home at 11:30, which is when it will be re-airing on one of the additional NBC channels that the Yahoo TV listings say i should have. Hope someone can help, thanks.

About every month or so, my TV has turned off my itself, then about 1 second later, it turns back on by itself. After that, the image on the TV is simi-fuzzy.. and it's just messed up, but I can hear it perfectly. I'm not sure how old the TV is (it is pretty old, though.), but it's a "LXI series sterio monitor" (that's what it says on the TV ) ANY idea what this means??

I have a 61 inch RCA (HD monitor) big screen TV that is 2 years old and one day after work I went to turn it on and NOTHING, I checked the plug-ins the batteries in the remote and of course tried the panel power button and still nothing. Has anyone had this happen, does anyone know what would cause this? RCA will not give me an explanation and its really expensive just to have some one come look at it. HELP PLEASE ITS FOOTBALL SEASON!!!

you can list more than one, but i like that cingular commercial when this woman gives her daughter the smallest camera flip phone ever made and they are talking in opposites, and the other one is the verizon one and when this real lame guy came up to this attractive woman and was like "hey where you been i tried to call you?" and she was like "its my service grrrr" and he was like "well you betta switch so we can reconnect" but i can tell she was actually tryna dodge him.

I currently use a former ondigital Philips box to recieve freeview but t is now very old and is starting to struggle to deal with many of the newer additions to freeview such as the digital tet services which it cannot load properly. I woul like to replace this with something that works reliably and doesnt freeze or take forever to change channel. I would prefer to not spend more than about £50 but if a box is very highly reccomended I would be willing to pay a little more. I have been looing at those little Goodmans boxes that plug directly into the scart socket, any good?

With computers I've heard it's better to just leave them on. So I was wondering if the same goes for televisions.

If I were planning to watch T.V. all day, would it be less wear and tear on the T.V. if I just left it on, or should I give it a rest for a couple of hours and turn it back on again?

Trying to buy off ebay, also a comms cable with the same dilemma (have they changed or stayed the same through the model/year changes). Plenty there to buy, but none with good enough info to go ahead and purchase!
