A 60" big screen,is it better to leave on for extended periods or turn off and on several times daily?

This tv is about 10 years old,that may make a difference because of circuit and power supply upgrades

the more you leave it on ,it will burn out and starte a fire

If it's going to be off for more than 15 minutes, it is better to turn it off.

leave it on. it draws more power while turning it on and off.
