TRY USING A BETTER OR DIFFERENT SCART LEAD, SOMETIMES THE PINS COME LOOSE INSIDE AND THEY DONT MAKE CORRECT CONTACT.

ENSURE YOUR TV IS NOT SET ON NSTC BUT ON PAL
GO INTO MENU, SETTINGS, INSTALL, PICTURE INPUT AND SELECT PAL
HOPE THIS HELPS

It sounds to me like it would nicely be an issue with the tube (it really is what's contained in the vast bit on the again). We had a television like this many years again and it advanced a everlasting eco-friendly patch contained in the left nook of the exhibit. As you assert it really is worry-free to work out the picture in spite of the indisputable fact that it really is annoying! it would nicely be nicely worth getting a quote from a restore centre (till you've a protracted assure for it) in the different case splash out and purchase your self an outstanding plasma!!
