I have a 61 inch RCA (HD monitor) big screen TV that is 2 years old and one day after work I went to turn it on and NOTHING, I checked the plug-ins the batteries in the remote and of course tried the panel power button and still nothing. Has anyone had this happen, does anyone know what would cause this? RCA will not give me an explanation and its really expensive just to have some one come look at it. HELP PLEASE ITS FOOTBALL SEASON!!!

First thing I would check before I got too frantic was to test the receptacle to make sure you havent popped a circuit breaker in the house! If the receptacle is good THEN I would start to panic!

I take it no light fixtures come on what-so-ever? if so, see if a VCR will paintings or a DVD participant will paintings. If it does no longer turn on in any respect, examine to work out if the circuit breaker for the hollow is tripped. If the hollow is nice, look and be conscious if there are any fuses that would nicely be checked and adjusted. If all of those look ok, then you actually can ought to take it to get repaired, or, only flow purchase a clean television, it would probable be more cost-effective anyhow. Unfortunatly, if its previous like ninety days previous, the restricted warrenty is expired on it, so that you're screwed. Sorry. in case to procure a no call type, like a Senith, rather of Zenith, or Zony rather of Sony, then it changed into absolute to interrupt. try a attractiveness type, it could be somewhat extra money, yet they are construct to very last.

I've had 2 RCA t.v.'s do the same exact thing. At first I figured it was because it was old and I just needed a new one, until I bought a second one and the same thing happened! I'm guessing it's just a bad brand.

If I had to guess I would say power supply. This would make sense because you have no pwer to anything. I would google the model # along with the word 'recall' since I know there were some plasmas that were recalled because of defective power supplies. Also check the warranty.
