I thought they were called flat screens but they still seem to be really wide. I am after one about 3cms wide and about 80cms across the front. What do I search for on ebay?

Don't hate, but I got a PS#, and now I need a HDTV TV to play it on. What's a good, but affordable, HDTV that I can buy?

FYI: I read that PS3 doesn't respond well to TVs that have 1080i, but not 720p.

I was searching one of those Black Friday sites with rumored sale ads and I cam across an ad for a 20 inch Flat LCD Screen TV for only $99!!! I am moving into an apartment in the next month and have been looking for a new tv. I was just wondering if a 20 inch would be too small in a living room? The deal is almost too good to pass up!

I'd like to have headphones for when my boyfriend wants to watch TV late (in the bedroom) at night while I am trying to get some sleep. Is there a headphone that connects? Where and how would it connect?

(The TV's about 4 years old, its hooked up to a cable box, VCR, DVD player, and a gamecube.)

........is it just to make sure that everyone has to be 'registered' so you'll who has paid. Also isn't it just another excuse to put up the licence fee. What's to stop them doing it again?

One day when we turned it on, the whole picture did not show. The sound is working, but there is only a thin strip of the screen visible. This strip runs horizontally in the middle. above and below it (the stirip of actual television) it is just black screen...it is almost as if the full screen with the picture got pancaked/squashed...does that make sense...well i was wondering if anyone know how to fix this :'(

I want to get a 37 inch flat screen high def tv for my husband for christmas. I dont have the money to pay for it all upfront and dont have good enough credit to open a store credit card. Any ideas how I could make monthly payments on a tv without opening a store credit card? Any online shopping that allows payments besides QVC? Thanks

We all know that European colour TV (PAL and SECAM) work with 625 per frame and the in the USA it is 405 lines per frame so the standard resolution (quality) in Europe is higher than the std. colour TV system in the USA. With the advent of HD (high definition) TV colour TV has been improved immensely particularly in the USA, who are going to have an improvement in quality from 450 to.... THAT IS PRECISELY MY QUESTION. Does anyone know how many lines per frame does HD-TV have ? I heard somewhere that HD is DOUBLE the standard in Europe, or 1250 lines per second. Is that right ?! Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

Less that 60 inches with true 1080p.

LCD. I heard Sony Bravia was the best line, but I'm not sure.

Cost excluded.

I'm looking into buying a HDTV, need help in purchasing one. I've been reading guides about finding the "right" one. As of now, I want a 1080p HDTV (don't know the difference between plasma and LCD) but I guess a LCD one because I heard plasma often have problems. Cost isn't a problem, I just want the best one in the market right now. I heard the Sony Bravia line is the best. What HDTVs do you recommend 1080p?

I was looking to buy a 40 inch lcd hdtv. The salesman told me that regular channels from my outside antenna and none hd Direct tv channels would look worse than my old picture tube tv. Is this true? I was thinking of going with Direct tv hd but there are not that many channels available.

I want to buy myself a "Sky Link" so that i can watch Sky on another TV in my house. I saw one on sale in Argos:

http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/5343250.htm

Has anyone got this and if so is there any loss of picture quality from the TV with the actual SKY box?

Also, how long is the lead that they supply with this TV link?

Any help is much appreciated! Thank u!
