i know about the pixels v. interlaced and how pixels are betterbut i read things that contradict this.

these is the chart the top is the "Better"
1080p (HDTV) = ( blue ray or HD-dvd )
1080i (HDTV)
720p (HDTV)
720i (HDTV)
480p (EDTV)
480i (SDTV)

1080i but if you can i would go with blue ray this is the best definaition that is out now for televsisions and dvds and all screens ect blueray it will cost alittle more but when it comes to picture quality you cant beat it it is 100%pure no pixels picture perfect and the clour resolution is real check it out you wont be dissapointed

1080 interleaved still gives you more lines than 720 progressive.
