An easy solution:
Buy a signal splitter at a radio shack or similar store.
Plug your coax from the cable company into one side and out the other comes two or more coax cable connectors. You can run coax wire from these to your TV's.
If there is a long run to be made radio shack makes an amplifier for a bit more money.

These solutions will work for you. Just remember if you need a long distance run buy the amplifier (it has a built in splitter in it.)

Boosters or amps all should have a db rating on them. db stands for decibles (its less than a watt so the TV industry had to come up with a name for it), the higher the number the more the power. Also all of your decent splitters will have a db rating, usually printed right over the F-port you are connecting the cable to.
Example a 2-way splitter will have a " -3.5db " stamped above the outputs. That means it takes 3.5db away from your signal right there at the splitter. So if you run a 2-way splitter to a 2-way splitter to a 2-way splitter you essentually get a 3-way splitter but at more signal loss. The more times you screw things together (even an F-81 splice connecting two cables) the more loss. Anyways add up your signal loss and add a little for your cable that your gonna use (rg-6 has less loss than rg-59) and there you go.
Speaking of cables RG-6 will only give you a good signal for about 100 to 150 feet.

Get a splitter but make sure that it is rated for cable TV. The frequency range for cable is not the same as for broadcast. You should NOT need a booster unless the cable lengths are very long (more that 100').
