I am planning on buying a 42 inch Plasma HDTV. It has intergrated and analog/digital tuners.
There is a a cheaper priced 52 HDTV I am looking at too, but it doesn't say it has the intergrated and analog/digital tuners. Will this be a problem to me? What does the tuners do?
I receive my tv signal by Dish satilite and my three local stations by an antenna on the roof.

My tv is usually turned off only at night. I have animals and leave it on for them. I have read that plasma TVs overheat and that both plasma and LCD TVs "run out". Is this true? Is there another flat panel TV that could fit my needs better?

My 2 year old son went mad this morning and has put a fork lightning style scratch on my precious telly. It is a LE32R41BDX. It is not the deepest, but can be felt if you run your fingers over it. Any help would be great, thanks!

Ok so my parents have a Digital Set top box (Mediastar DT-720) Connected to our Widescreen TV (Panasonic QuintrixSR). They recently bought a DVD/VCR recorder (Panasonic DMR-S35V) Now its simple enough to have one or the other connected to my TV at any one time but if anyone has any clue how to hook it all up at once I would LOVE YOU!! I can give more details if needed thnx

Choose between a TV you think would be better for a Bedroom.
32" LCD HDTV with great features (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.gsp?product_id=5058444)
or a
20.1" LCD HD-READY a little small but viewable (http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4857805)

I want put it on a wall that is 6' long and 9' tall.
Which one should I get and why.
I need only serious answers only please!!!

I have a 16:9 ratio HDTV and I'm confused at why some widescreen movies are able to fill the entire screen while others leave bars. I'm not talking about "Fullscreen". There are some widescreen movies that are able to fill my TV and I'm not sure if it's because it is called "Anamorphic Widescreen". What is Anamorphic Widescreen format?? I notice some rations like 2.35:1 which have big bars, 1.85:1 which I think leaves bars, and also 1.78:1. For some reason I have some 1.85:1 DVD's that have bars and some that don't. I'm looking for the one that doesn't leave bars
