i have tried the manufacturers, but to no avail, and my wonderful (!) daughter has lost them !! HELP PLEASE!!!!

try a high street electrical store. It is a good idea to get a remote control that has the learning feature just in case your free view is not pre programmed. or one that can be upgradable over the net,

you can buy a multifunction remote from Argos. e-bay have a lot to,or contact manufacturer and they will supply them.
