Look up the make and model of your TV in the code book that came with the remote. Just went through this with an RCA remote and had a problem getting a Phillips DVD to work right because it is a newer model and that number wasn't in the book, but the second Phillips code I tried worked fine. Now The RCA controls everything so I don't have to use four remotes!!!
