I am planning on buying a 42 inch Plasma HDTV. It has intergrated and analog/digital tuners.
There is a a cheaper priced 52 HDTV I am looking at too, but it doesn't say it has the intergrated and analog/digital tuners. Will this be a problem to me? What does the tuners do?
I receive my tv signal by Dish satilite and my three local stations by an antenna on the roof.

I work for Dish. If you have a Dishnetwork receiver then you have a digital tuner. You may even be able to get your local channels through Dish. However if you can't then you will have to have a built-in tuner on the TV. Think of the TV like a computer monitor. You can only change the inputs on the monitor but you can't ever change the channel. That's because the monitor does not have a tuner in it. So the 52" is basically a big monitor while the 42" is an actual television. If you have any other questions, email me. goose33acr@yahoo.com
