I had directv dvr thru tivo and it was great, then i moved and had to get regular cable, couldnt have satelitte there and had to get comcast which blows, their dvr is awful. Then I got tivo thru tivo.com with dual tuners and am SOooooo happy. I love love love my tivo, its the greatest.

i had tivo for a long time with no problems. then suddenly it just stopped updating. i was told it was because of my digital phone line. i need my tivo! the operator said some people have been able to get around this quite common problem. HOW?

Anyone know why all of a sudden my dvds all play in pink? Thought at first it was a new dvd i bought, but have put others in and they r all pink. Any ideas anyone what the problem is?

I do not have a land line, but do have wireless in my house. I have heard that some TiVo's will work with WiFi, but the guys at the electronics store couldn't tell me.

If you know of a TiVo or other DVR that will work over WiFi, please provide the model number so I know what to look for.

If I go out and buy a dvd recorder and record for two hours on it, can I then put that DVD into the computer and take what I recorded and put it on the hard-drive? Also, if I put it on the computer, can I then erase what was on the DVD so that it has as much room as it started with. To avoid any questions about my drive, it is DVD compatable.

Is it possible to find that your device (DVD recorder or DVD-RW drive in computer or ....) just doesn't work because you have chosen the wrong one out of +R and -R disks? Or is it just a performance thing?

Does anyone know how to change the settings on the wishlist? I want to record everything about Racheal Ray but 30 minute meals. I don't have enough space to record 30 minutes meals, too.
