Check for a function called "Finalise Disc"
Do it and then test disc on another player or computer.

This should be covered in the instruction book / user guide under "Using discs recorded on your Panasonic recorder with other players" or similar.

You need to finalise the disk. Find the setup menu on your DVD recorder, and there should be a 'Finalize' option somewhere.
Also, some DVD players can't play home recorded DVDs whatever you do, some can only play DVD-Rs etc. so there may be no solution.

Either needs finalised as above, or I seem to think that Panasonic use or can use RAM discs, if so these will not play on most DVD players.

as others have said earlier
it could be that the other player or recorder is oncompatible (ie it woint accept the disc type

however that will only be an issue if you have closed / fianlised the dvd. it will be an option somewhere on the recorder. it should be visible on another DVD recorder, but nest to be safe and use the option on the recorder you made the recoding on.

what you may want to do is do a glance for in utorrent or the web for a software called avs media convertor 4. you could then make a dvd listing on your computing device ( could come to about 4 gig ) 2 directorys one called video and one called audio . go away the adio one on my own , its jus the video listing you opt for. it really is complete of files that are needed for burning a dvd action picture record. as quickly because it has complete replacing could take about a hour , some files take 2 , then you definitely both acquire nero 7 extremely or once you've it then cool and make a dvd video record , drag the files into this methodology to burn and then.... its all carried out . i stumble on that the fairly nero software is better suited to apply than the smartwizard that it comes with, so bypass to start up classes and locate nero, in that listing is nero rom burning , on the left pane is what media you opt for to apply and what you opt for to burn , eg action picture audio or iso . its far to effortless for me now, and that i used to keep it to myself because it really is between the harder activities on line, yet hi there its all exciting and video games till someone looses a eye :)

Hi, When recording to disc does it give you a finalize option at all ?, also some players are fussy with certain discs.

Does it playback fine on the unit itself?
