I had directv dvr thru tivo and it was great, then i moved and had to get regular cable, couldnt have satelitte there and had to get comcast which blows, their dvr is awful. Then I got tivo thru tivo.com with dual tuners and am SOooooo happy. I love love love my tivo, its the greatest.

Tivo is such a great product- their menu system is sooo easy to use, even the sounds it makes lets you know whether your pressing the buttons worked or not. Best of all, I have an old standalone unit with a lifetime subscription, so no fees...
I love my Tivo!!!

I'm a long time tivo fan. I first bought the 14 hour model in 2000, and haven't turned back since. Now I have more tivo's in my house than TV sets.

If it weren't for tivo I would never get to watch tv, b/c there would not be anything good on at the times I have time to watch! It rocks!!

I have the tivo hardware but I don't have a subscription. I guess in the back of my mind I am thinking, "Why pay for a subscription for something a VCR can do for free?"

I have looked @ other peeps wishlists and season passes and I feel so bad! I have like 4X as much as they do!

I looove my tivo. My dad wanted to switch to dish and i begged that he not so we didn't.
The only bad thing about it is that my family has to replace it about every year because it starts to restart and act up. But other than that it's faaantastic.
