I just bought an HDTV with digital cable. My vcr/dvd player is about 2 years old. I cannot play tapes/dvds on it with the HDTV. Could it be because my vcr is analog?? Do I need to buy a new vcr/dvd?? Thanks.

I've got a rechargeable NI-CD 1100mAh battery. And It's standard charge would take 15hrs at 110mA. And also it's fast charge would take 4.5hrs at 330mA.

Would it be harmful for this battery IF, I would charge it at 500mA?
I know it would take less time than charging it with 330mA, But it's not the reason of my job here. I'm doing this because there is no charger with the specified Am that the battery needs!

Thanks...

I have a Japanese rice-cooker which needs 100V, 460W. I am leaving in Greece where we use 220-240V. The problem is that I cannot find in the internet a stepdown converter from 220V to 100V and for 460W. Usually, I find for small devices like 5 W. However, there are a lot of stepdown converters from 220V to 120-110V for the US devices. Does anyone knows if there will be any consequences if I will use a converter with 110-120V instead a converter with 100V ? Thanks a lot.

I think he is cheating on me, I dont know, but his work makes him go out of town a lot, and I think he is using that as an excuse to be with someone else.
I want to find something I can stick on his car so that I can find him or know where he is.

There was an ad on TV last night for a small device, credit card sized, that you can download your photos from your PC and carry it around. Really neat looking thing almost like an ipod. And you could get 2 for I think $40. I lost the web address, would any one here remember it? Thanks

If you are doing a comparison, I thought it would be in everyones best interest to know that almost 50% of the Xbox 360s are having the dreaded redlight of death. So if you don't want to be without a gaming console for roughly 3 weeks while they are repairing it in Texas, then you should go with the PS3! Also you forgot to metion the supiriority of the Blu-ray, over the HD DVD. The Xbox 360 games run on dvd-9 or 9gb dvds, while the Playstation 3 can play Blu-ray right out of the box! Oh and I almost forgot, thats 5.555 x more than you get with the DVDs. Playstation 3 can also do dolby 7.1 surround sound, which even the Xbox 360 cannot do. Did I mention that the PS3 has 6 microprossesors and is capable of 1.2 TRILLION calculations a second. Sooner or later you will have to buy an HD DVD player for the xbox, which brings it right up to the price of the PS3. PS3 if far more supirior because of Blu-ray. Just stop being biased, now that you know the truth. PS3 is better and Online is FREE!

I'm looking for some good earbud headphones because I'm getting sick of my Sony headsets. I don't have enough money to go out and get a pair of Shure earbuds so I'm wondering what the next best thing is that I could possibly afford.
