I bought an emerson research clock, it sets itself, you can unpug it and it goes right back to the right time, if the power goes out, it saves all the data and goes right back to the right time and saves alarm settings. well the past two years it has set itself to daylight savings time a week early(which makes me an hour late by the time the alarm sounds). Is any one having any trouble, 'cause i think Emerson needs to do a little more research on this one.

(Sorry if it seems like a dumb question)...

I know aviation enthusiasts can use them to tune into airband frequencies but can you get ones where you can transmit a message via a handheld radio to a particular frequency?

Any recommendations where to buy cheap but efficent airband receivers/tranceivers?

Any information or advice is much appreciated.

Many thanks.

When I went to school one day I must have dropped my phone on the ground. It was raining that morning. The next day I went looking for the phone at the school's lost and found and it was actually there. It wouldn't turn on, so I waited until I got home to take care it. My brother told me that it should only need to dry out and it's fine. We've let it dry out for a while now, and it still doesn't work. When I turn it on the screen shows for 1 minute or so and then turns off. It's plugged into the charger right now, but my brother says not to do that because if theres still water in the phone, the water can fry the electronics and leave it broken forever. How can I fix my phone!?

I posted this question 2 days ago and I haven't gotten ANY answers yet so I figured I'd repost it.. maybe you guys will be more helpful :)....
I am trying to find one of those things that you put on your keys that makes a noise when you clap.. my boyfriend always loses his keys and I think it would be a nice christmas present.. but I don't know exactly what they are called and no matter what I type in (keychain accessories, keychain clappers, etc.) no shopping website can ever give me results for what I'm looking for. Can anyone tell me exactly what they are called? Also, if anyone knows any good websites or stores (around dayton OH preferably) that I could find them for a good price then I'd appreciate that too!! Thanks a lot guys!! :)

i have these 2 big speakers and a receiver that are like 30 years old and the receiver broke. ive got a cd changer so i just need a new receiver. the speakers have the old style connection that you stick in and turn the knob, its not like the newer plugs so the receiver needs to be this type. my budget is around $100-150 max. thanks!
