I need a tool with a microphone that i can use to measure sound in hertz with? i need something like that for my science project. does anyone know a priced one? or if theres a site where i can put in pitches like A2 or E5 and it will give me hertz measurement?

You need a frequency counter. They are available from many places, including eBay and possibly Radio Shack. If you look around I'm sure you can find one that is fairly inexpensive. Some multimeters even include a frequency counter. The site below has a frequency counter kit for less than $50.00.
