Would airport x-rays damage my burned cds/dvds if I passed them through checking?

Nope, if the emitter was stronger it might but then it wouldn't be safe around people. (at 1000 watts you would get rapid ionization)

No. Unlike film that can be fogged by X-rays, the information on a CD is contained in the notches in the foil and X-rays have no effect on them.
