I just recently discovered YouTube.Com and I would like to have my own Channel. Instead of buying a video camera, I thought a webcam may do just the same, but for less money.

I recently got accepted into George Mason University, and I will be travelling in a new area, so I will need to know where I am going for a little while. Also, I am planning to make a trip to Illinois and I will need directions there. Other than that I can not see much more travelling in my itinerary. I think it would be neat to have, but these things cost money; and I don't want to lease. By the way, I am planning to purchase fora Windows Mobile based Pocket PC. I may buy standalone if that proves to be a better deal. Thanks.

I am putting on a slideshow at my wedding rehearsal dinner. The slide show will be from my laptop and we will use a projector attached to the laptop to project the show onto a large screen. I need help with the sound, since the laptop will not provide enough volume. Is there a way to hook up traditional stereo speakers to the laptop to provide more sound? Thanks!

Ever noticed that when there's a question about some popular piece of electronic gadgetry some pictureless person posts an 'answer' giving a link to a site where you can allegedly get one for free?

Do you think these answers are automatic, or is someone paid by the sites to put them in?

Anyway, has anyone ever really got any free gizmos from any of these give-away sites? If so, where. and have you been bombarded with emails / post / phone calls ever since?
